My nephew's baby quilt

I finally finished the baby quilt for my nephew. They are in Brooklyn, New York. New parents are in their 40's, so hope things all go well. So far, so good. She is due in November.

I forgot to measure. It's about 55x65 ... somewhere in there.

The letters are crazy quilt style, done on the embroidery machine.

They are cat people, so 2 of the corners have cats.

I'm a dog person, so he had to get in there, too.

And, Pooh for the baby.  Hope that scary looking face above Pooh doesn't scare the baby. haha

I quilted around the letter and alternated horizontal and vertical lines in the blocks. Irregular spacing.  Line spacing in the border also.

Love the colorful dots for the sash and border.

The back is a bit brighter yellow that this shows.   And some wild stripe for the binding.

The baby should have that alphabet all learned by the time he goes to school.
