Piecemakers calendar quilt 2002 - middle section II

And...the last installment of this quilt. the bottom of the middle section.

Did not Brenda do a fabulous job? she plans to enter it in the fair....so i hope she wins a prize. it seems like an easy win to me. i'm glad she let me help her out a bit by doing some quilting on it for her.

Brenda tells me a giant spider will live in this web.




Mr. snowman is pinned to the side so he doesn't come to harm in rolling.






Wish you could see this in person. my pics do not do it justice. it is mind blowing. a great years work....a tremendous job....let's hear it for Brenda.    yay!!!!

Piecemakers calendar quilt 2002 - December

And, here we are at December.....the Christmas month.  lovely block. but this is not the end of this quilt. there are 2 more entries....with the middle block. it is so large and there are too many pics...took 2 entries....so keep looking.

This largish piece was glued on and i worried about it surviving the rolling of the quilt....but no problem.







This candle is pinned sideways so it wouldn't get damaged in the rolling.

Ducks?..... geese?  not sure....don't know my fowl. hahahaha




i love this 3D fuzzy flower....and thorny leaves.  reminds me of thistle

Whew...we've made it to October. if you want the whole story....start at the beginning. i feel these photos don't need my narrative. this is my friend, Brenda's quilt.  outstanding!!

These little leaves are so delicate looking....and they are curvy...love them
