You might remember that I rescued these Dear Jane border blocks from my sister when she was going to throw them away because they didn't fit her quilt properly. I couldn't believe that after all that work of making them she would just give them up. They are needle point on Aida cloth. I guess you call it needle point. Not sure.
Anyway, I made myself a quilt. She is not getting them back. haha I fused an interfacing on the back of the blocks to help hold in threads. I had to trim tons of thread off. It is 68 x 75" and rather heavy.
The quilting doesn't show anywhere but in the border. I just went around everything.
I ran out of the pale brown that I used as a border for the blocks, so decided it could use some zing and used the black and white for the rest of the blocks.
And then used the black and white for the binding also.
Every block is different
I backed it with this wild thing I had in the stash.
