My buddies on MQR inspire me daily. the other day Anne S from Australia showed a baby quilt that was simple and lovely. i fell for it and decided i needed to make one. i asked her the pattern name and she told me it was Woven. i looked at the pattern and decided....a)i am cheap, and didn't even want to spend the $6 for it....and, b)i could draw that myself.
So, out came the trusty graph paper and some crayons. i made mine a tad larger....it is 42x52.
I pulled out my flannel fabrics for a soft, cuddly baby quilt. I even had a rabbit print. haha
The rabbit print was actually a tad large for this....but i used it anyway.
My flannel color choices were limited, but i think it worked.
I cut the pieces out yesterday afternoon and pieced it together last night. i think it took longer to cut the pieces than to piece it.
I normally don't make the same thing twice....but, there are exceptions. remember those arrow quilts from a few months ago? haha I believe this might be along those lines......it is so simple, i simply have to make more of them. stay tuned.
