Yellow Log Cabin from Texas

I have a great customer in Austin, Texas who sent me this yellow, sunshiny log cabin to do for her. and she has patiently waited for months for me to get to it. she even sent photos of what she wanted me to quilt. no quesswork.  it is on its way back home to her.....hope she likes it.

Isn't it great ..... so bright and sunny. all nice and flat and square.

Clam shells in the log cabins.

Leaves in the brown border and feathers in the final border.

It was a pretty good size. it's always nice to have a happy, square, flat quilt to work on. the backing was a plain white fabric.

Bright white Glide thread and Warm and White cotton batting. just in time for summer.

Is it summer yet? .... maybe ....

tomorrow
