Let's Make Some Music

Grab your favorite instrument and let's make some music. These paper pieced blocks came from a book by Linda Causee, called 24 Musical Quilt Blocks. It took me from September, 2016 to January, 2017 to make all the blocks. Some of those were difficult...if the lines didn't match after 3 tries, they just stayed uneven. There were some tiny pieces.

It is about 39 x 56"

I do like paper piecing, but some of these tried my patience. And i found a boo-boo...but not until i was quilting it...too bad. haha

The border is a scribble.....kind of like meander gone berserk.

All the stringed instruments got embroidered 'strings' and little beads to tighten the strings.

I had a red back that worked well.
