Christmas Tree

Thank you, Kim, for giving me an idea to use my orphan blocks. I would take them out every once in a while and try to get an idea of how to use them....and just put them back on the shelf. When I saw your tree, it just made sense on how to use them. I changed it up a bit and made it simpler....and used about half of my orphan blocks.

Three days of fun came to this...

It is 66x88. the top stars and hexies are stitched down. then i made rows by the size of the height of the blocks.

There's a couple of 4 patch posies....a pink and brown embroidered block...a couple churn dash....a paper pieced volcano...some geese....some yellow selvages

Even a Sunbonnet Sue with her cuckoo clock from Germany...a 16 patch...a star...a black and white that i decided after 2 that i didn't want to make any more. haha

Even a fuzzy corduroy alligator

And that concludes my Christmas spirit for the year....HO HO HO....it might get quilted by next Christmas.

And now, back to my regularly scheduled program.
