I finished piecing this crazy quilt on December 7, 2015. It is machine embroidered and appliqued. These blocks are designed by MollyMine.com If you have an embroidery machine and have not used her designs, you are missing out. she is an awesome digitizer.
It is 58" square
I stitched around the sections in each block...and sometimes around a picture if it was rather large.
There are several birds in these Christmas designs.
There are several snowflakes, too.
Back is a flannel Santa print.
I have all of her crazy quilt design series. they come in different sizes and there are some for Christmas, Halloween and just plain crazy quilt squares. i have used the designs and skipped some embroidery sections if my fabrics are too busy. And you can use just a few blocks and turn them around and they look different. there are usually 20 designs in a set.
