Sashed 9 Patch

I finally finished the church donation quilt.... i am happy it is finished...it took me a week. A bunch of the church ladies brought in scraps and they all worked on it.

It started out at 92x104 but is now 90x102....that fat batting did it. I was to just sew the binding on the front and someone will stitch it down.

The quilting you see the best is where it is on the cream...sashings and middle of blocks. It went fast enough, but it was mostly ruler work.

It would look more even if all those little squares were the same size.

Shows better on the back.

They make a quilt every year and raffle it off sometime during the summer. they have a church festival and that is when the winner is chosen. I believe it hangs in several places to sell chances on it for a couple months. I hope they like it.
