Farm Country

The blocks in this quilt were machine embroidered in brown thread. It is called Farm Country. It is 54x66.  It was pieced on February 19, 2014 and finally quilted today. I'm catching up....only 2 years behind. haha

Other blocks are goat, rooster, hay wagon, ducks, pig, cat, well with bucket, horse, house, owl, cow, rabbit, and well with pump.

The cornerstones had 2 rounds of CC....along with the sashing and first border. I found a path to go across and do a row of vertical and horizontal sashing and cornerstones at the same time.

The border got CC on one side and then some 1" (kinda) piano keys. i eye-balled them.

The back is a piece of fabric i found at a thrift store.

The cool thing about it is that it has Wrangler written all over it. never seen any like it before.

Thread used was a Cream Glide on the top and a Cream Bottom line in the bobbin.

Now i am going to put one back on the frame that got taken off several weeks ago for other things.
