How UFOs are born

You might wonder how i have so many UFOs.

There are several steps....

1.  'Just Look' at embroidery site....  www.juliasneedledesigns.com  January special...all sets on sale for $2...usually $10.  plus, buy 1...get one free.   just looking....just looking...oh, that's cute.

2.  An hour later.....things are in the cart

   ....Japanese Goldwork
  ....Halloween Alphabet
  ....Pirate Alphabet
  ... Western Alphabet
  ...Thread Illusions......all 7 sets...hahaha

3.  Spend a couple hours downloading everything and load them into the embroidery computer.

4.  They are soooo cute....just embroider one to see how it looks.

5.  A few hours later....background fabrics are cut for all designs bought......good for the StashBusting figures.....and 1 block is embroidered for each set....and set aside for an undetermined amount of time until they get finished.

Actually, there is an embroidery basket for embroidery UFOs.....sigh!   these aren't the first things in there, either. haha

6.  Voila!!    New UFOs are born

Japanese Goldwork......i am keeping the thread with the background fabrics so i make sure to use the same thread for the rest of them.

Thread Illusions #1      I got all 7 sets of these and all together there are 51 different blocks. most of them that i am going to embroider will be 5x7....but a few are just 4x4. might be interesting to figure out a setting for those. but she has lots of different sizes in there....6x10, 4x4, 5x7.  they are very cool. lots of configurations.

And that, my friends, is how UFOs are born.  i'm an expert at it.
