I don't have a note of when i started piecing this one...probably sometime in 2014. I picked it up again December 21, 2014 and finished piecing January 11, 2015. Now it just needs to be quilted....but that's another story.
Hopefully, you will see it quilted sometime this year. it is 48x72....weird size....i probably needed another few blocks to make it wider....but was out of bird material.
The basket bottoms are yellow selvages....i had all of those done already.
The tops are paper pieced....had about half of those done.
Normally i would have put sashing in this quilt but when i was looking at it i decided i liked it just the way it was.
That tiny black and white and red stripe border makes my eyes cross. it seemed to move as i was sewing it.
On to the next one.....a doozie.
