A Bunch of Brown Blocks

I had another bunch of crumb blocks finished, so these blocks got brown borders.

The quilt got a brown border of little 3 1/2" strips. the binding was cut from leftovers of the backing.

I have stopped saving the tiny pieces...so this might be the last crumb quilt. except, I have a couple in the to-be-quilted cabinet yet.

My sister has spotted this one and has already spoken up for it.

There were tiny little triangles in the crumbs, so a few pinwheels got made. and one pinwheel got put together all wrong. haha

The backing is a paisley print that my sister bought for 'her' quilt because she didn't want a back of 'something i found in the stash'. haha

She also requested 'regular' batting...as opposed to some blanket or throw that i found at the thrift store. she is so picky. haha

It is 57x74. The panto is Bright and Breezy by Lorien Quilting. I used that one simply because it was the one still on the table from the last time i used it. Top thread was Glide Chestnut and bobbin was So Fine brown.
