After quilting for a bit and then frogging.....i gave that up.
Decided to work on the Bali Pops Jelly Roll quilt some more. i had a 53"x62" middle...using 1 jelly roll.
So i took 27 strips from the 2nd pack...plus the 18" piece that was cut off the first time....and sewed them together the same way....stopping when i had 4 rows together. i used these 4 rows as a border around the middle part. now it is 66x78".
Had more strips left over....so stitched about 10 of them together and put 1 more strip all around for a 5th border.
Now i have the finished top....72"x82"....and 9 strips left for binding.
How cool is that.....3 hours work and a cute top made with 2 jelly rolls.
This is another pattern i will be making again. i love quick and easy.
You can read about this pattern and see all the tops that the ladies made at their sewing retreat. they called them "Jelly Races". There are lots of pictures and the instructions are easy to understand.
