Finally finished the last Robert Callaham pattern. these are found in old McCall's Quilting magazines. this one is a combination of wool applique and fabric piecing. It should be quilted sometime in 2015 as i am starting to quilt all my tops.
These are the pieced blocks. Those flying geese in the border took f.o.r.e.v.e.r. i started out using them as leaders and enders and then just finished them all one day when i got a bit more than half of them finished.
He does love to make his pieced blocks challenging.
OK...confession time. this panel was supposed to be 3 of those circles. i just could not do it. so i improvised. when i look at the whole quilt top...it sort of stands out....but i can live with it.
These are the applique blocks....i used wool.
Looks like i might have lost a couple of berries on this one. hope i remember to add those back on. hahaha
This tree is a combination of applique and piecing.
Although i enjoyed working on Robert Callaham's patterns, i am happy to be finished with them. i believe i did 3 of his quilts. quilting it will be fun.
