Using up blue and green selvages.....56 blocks. 10 inch blocks. it started out pretty cool ...but by the time i was finished...it was the quilt from hell.
Looks good...from a distance. LOL i used the Quiltazoid maze boards. tried using King Tut thread.....got a whole row of bird nests on the back. Had thread breakage about a dozen times.
Switched to Glide thread...it always works. Corners were thick....i broke a needle.
Couldn't get it to lay flat...it has old man wrinkles. hahaha used selvages for the binding. found the idea online. cool idea but it just makes a whole lot of seams to go over. not sure i will do that again.
And the ugliest back on the planet. got to use up all that ugly fabric somewhere...right?
It's 70-something by 80-something. don't remember exactly. will go get thrown over the couch....to get thrown on the floor or whatever. i was really tired of it by the end. kind of disappointed it didn't work better. going to sell all my King Tut thread. no sense to keep trying to use it. my machine does not like it.
