In digging through the boxes of UFOs and fabric....i came across a few pieces of fabric from the collection called Summer Nights and Northern Lights. it is dark purples, greens and cream. there was a panel with several pictures. i cut those apart and re-arranged to my liking.
The piece at the top with the leaves on a cream background was the top and bottom of the panel. i used all the fabrics i had.....just a few scraps left. binding will be the same as the final border.
I wanted a small green border between the body of the quilt and those HSTs but didn't have enough fabric.
The to-be-quilted cabinet is getting filled up with all these tops but i think i like that better than all the pieces in boxes. so i shall continue to piece up all the projects in boxes and worry about the quilting....
