A friend of mine is cleaning out a relative's house after her death and selling the things they find in the house. many, many knickknacks and dishes and such. she kept the box of antique buttons....darn....but i scored this very cool lamp.
It is a floor lamp...almost taller than my 5'2" . those are all glass pieces welded together. i love the pointed top and bottom.
Hard to take a pic with the bulb on but it just glows when lit.
And that sucker is heavy. the stand is cast iron. i put it on a scale and it said 30 pounds....but i would have guessed about 80. hahahaha
I need to clean off some dust and cobwebs but i really like this. it will look fabulous at the Duck. it just makes me smile.
Got to get over to the Duck soon.....maybe...
