Block Rockin'

This was started on January 31, 2014 and finished piecing on April 30, 2014.  i found it on someone's blog....it was a free paper piecing pattern for blocks named after rock and roll stars.

Quilted today, December 26, 2014.   about 53 x 66".  i figured if it was rock and roll...it needed to be bright. i also used bright variegated thread...(thanks, Riley)...and black thread on the back. it didn't show...you'll see why when you see the back pic.  the panto is Star Swirl

7 Pink Floyd

8 Simon and Garfunkel

9 Lithium

10 Caldonia

11 Mercury

12 Marley

And the back. i had to buy some fabric for the back....it wouldn't have been right to just use any old thing. haha
