Seems like everyone on MQR has made the Crazy Christmas Tree pattern. now I can say I have made it, too. I couldn't figure it out, so i had to buy the pattern. I used some Christmas fabrics and white on white.
When I showed it to my husband, he said they look like drunken Christmas trees, so mine are drunken trees. haha
I chose not to spend that much money on the ruler, so I just figured that part out myself. it worked out ok.
Had some cute Santa fabric for the border. I left my sashings at the 3"...I didn't see any point in cutting them down to 2 1/2" and then just wasting that 1/2".
This will be the binding....once it is quilted....maybe by next Christmas. haha
These were fun. I can see myself making a whole quilt of these. the blocks are 9 x 14" so it wouldn't take a lot of them.
