Past and Present

The finished quilt for the day is from a pattern in the Feb 2008 issue of American Patchwork and Quilting magazine. It was designed by Amy Walsh.

I finished piecing it back in March of this year, so you might remember seeing it then.

It is 59x70. It's always amazing to find how much you lose with quilting....i started out with a top that was 60x72

I used a panto called Velvet Queen (i love that name). The designer is Benay Derr and it is from several years ago.

The back is a sheet from the thrift store.

I used Glide Chocolate for the top and Bottom Line Tan for the bobbin.

Just a little more space in the to-be-quilted cabinet. I already have another one loaded on the frame for tomorrow.  I am not doing a panto on that one, but hope to still finish it in a day. Staying away from that embroidery machine makes a huge difference in my day. hahahaha
