Only 6 months late....haha....but the second one is now finished. Plan A was to finish it for Christmas....we'll pretend it is for this coming Christmas. It is 50x68. Fusible applique blocks. Same pattern as first quilt, just different animals and different fabrics.
I had a little bit of balloon animal fabric that I could use for the sashing.
These 2 quilts are going to twin girls. I think they are now 5...they can decide who gets which one.
Those elephants have some humongous ears. haha
The back is a flannel
The panto is Modern Squares by Denise Schillingher. the pattern actually has a * on the lines going from one 'square' to another, but i thought that made it too messy, so i just skipped that part.
Top thread was Glide Cotton Candy (pink); bobbin was Bottom Line White
